SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT

Here is my personal take.

If the people decide to give provisional extraordinary powers to Rodrigo Duterte that will enable him to clean up the rot and mess and to come up with a good Constitution towards a new form of government, he will undoubtedly go down in history as our greatest president.

After him, I see two women who have the potential of leading the country whose names I won't mention. They will benefit from Duterte's reforms. It would be nice if one became president and the other prime-minister. I personally think they can work well together. They have the brains and steel will of their father.

Let's look at the other side of the fence.

Leni Robredo? She can gloat over her imaginary popularity by SWS. Does she really think she has a chance at the presidency? I don't believe the people will accept someone who has gone on record publicly by proposing the legalization and decriminalization of the use of drugs. Imagine a country allowing the legal use of Flakka.

Antonio Trillanes? He would be better confined to a mental asylum.

Kiko Pangilinan? Risa Hontiveros? They have been marginalized. So will the LP whose only chance of surviving is if Robredo becomes president. Hence its continuous attempts to destabilize and topple Rodrigo Duterte. With Robredo president, LP members who have gone to PDP-Laban will jump back to the LP.

Those fighting to give the mayor rev powers know what is at stake. It is the future of the country.
