THE WASTED YEARS

Thirty years ago, we had a Cory who was given rev powers which enabled her to undertake vast reforms by the stroke of a pen by mere executive order. But she was weak. She belonged to the oligarchy. The people did nothing and so the oligarchy hijacked the reform movement and maintained the status quo.

Thirty years later, the Good Lord sent us a Rody who was elected on a platform of change. He is the opposite of Cory. A firm and strong Rod. A man of the masses. But his powers to effect change are constricted by a flawed Cory Constitution which the enemies of change use to block reforms and destabilize his government. What will the people do?

That is the challenge before us. Do we let this second chance go by or do we give him the same extraordinary powers that were given to Cory to effect change?
For thirty long years, if the people had taken an active participation to direct the destiny of the nation, today we could be among the tiger nations of Asia instead of being mired in deep problems like poverty, insurgency, separatism, illegal drugs, and terrorism, for all these problems are intricately connected.

As I keep saying, God has given us a second chance, a new lease on life. We have to break the chains that enslaved us. We have to take destiny into our own hands. We have to rebuild a new nation under God. To do this, we have to abrogate a flawed Constitution and draw up a new one. We have to mend and clean broken institutions of corruption and evil. We have to bring to quick justice those who plundered the national treasury and consorted with druglords who have destroyed physically and mentally millions of the flower of our youth.

I believe the Good Lord sent us a David already late in his age who has no further political ambition other than to perform a cleanup mission and bring in a new constitutional order. As I warned before, if the people do not respond by helping him and giving him the tools to perform his mission, God himself will undertake a cleansing process, as the Lord will do throughout the world. The final chapter of humanity is written in the Book of Revelation. We are part of that chapter and how we respond will determine our salvation.
