That is a Latin legal phrase, meaning... "Let justice be done though the heavens fall."
The maxim signifies the belief that justice must be realized regardless of consequences.
When you cause the devastation of a city, sow terror to its citizens, kill a hundred soldiers, take dozens of hostages and rape innocent young women, you don't deserve mercy or compassion. Your evil deeds will get back to your body. Either you die in pain or burn in hell.
Let this be a lesson to those extremists, destabilizers and terrorists. You can run but you cannot hide. Sooner or later, the long arm of the law will catch you.
Justice is finally served. Congratulations to the brave warriors who triumphed over evil men.

The Maranaw society is as complex as the larger Philippine society. Almost all political groupings are wracked by disunity and dissension due to personal and political interests. And for the long period of time, there is no exception to this seemingly systemic symptom of discord. In the context of winning a war, the Commander-in- Chief must display hIs total grasp of the situation. Luckily, though, the much-hyped Marawi rehab is not being touted to be handled by the discordant few. The lowly IDPs, who are largely commoner must not be out-numbered by feuding interest blocks. Salamat, TUHAN ko! Kalimuon kaming ka. . .Ameen!

This will be where skeletons will be be uncovered and deep dark secrets unmasked. This will be the time where we will learn how we got duped and how we got robbed of our power to freely exercise our right to choose our leaders.
This is where we will realize how we have been abused and how greed took advantage of our frailty as citizens.
Regardless of its outcome, whether it goes to an actual senate trial, or they attempt to cover it up and deodorize the awful stench, we the people will no longer tolerate it.

It's Sunday guys and we know a lot of you don't like to see us engaging in open fights with "fellow DDS" but this one here's different. Besides, he started it so please just allow us to share with you what we know. Rest assured we tell nothing but the truth.

Not that we're saying it's your fault that you happened to be related to this schmuck but hey, where were you when Jimmy boy was attacking the President?
Did we ever see a single post from you chastising your uncle? And how dare you question our motivations when it is you who is related to one of the President's most rabid critics.
This here is where hypocrisy and duplicity becomes obvious dear Franco. You accuse of us of being divisive and of being cowards when you do not even have the courage to admit to the DDS that you're this schmuck's nephew?
At least if you came clean about your relationship with him di sana hindi na naging kaduda-duda. Are you ashamed to admit that he is your uncle? Or are you just pretending to be what you are not?
And you fashion yourself as the President's defender while your Uncle Jim does the exact opposite? You align yourself with a group that exposes yellow puppets like Jover Laurio when you happen to be related to one of the most vocal principals?
Makes us wonder how you guys talk to each other during private family gatherings.
Stop this charade Franco Mabanta. If there's anybody here who reeks of hypocrisy and duplicity it is you.

We have finally unmasked the enemy!
For decades we have always thought that we were just an unfortunate bunch of people, not being able to achieve much compared to our richer more progressive neighbours. We accepted our fate thinking that we just aren’t capable of reaching higher goals for the nation. We looked at our brothers and sisters that were wallowing in poverty and said sorry ganyan talaga ang buhay. You just picked the shorter end of the straw. We all had that defeatist nature about ourselves. We looked at the elite with disdain, knowing that their prosperity had just been handed down to them through their bloodlines that had taken advantage of the blood, sweat and tears of our ancestors. We sat aghast as they told stories of how much European or American blood they have in their veins, wishing that they could somehow just drain the little Filipino blood they had in their systems.
For centuries, we have been their peasants; they have been our serf lords. That was the status quo! But their game was for it not to seem that way. So they controlled us. They controlled us by what we watch on tv, what we listen to on the radio. What was taught in school. They dumbed us down with their shows; they instilled fear by what was fed to us in the news. They made themselves heroes by what was written in textbooks. And they controlled our wealth by monopolizing industry among themselves. They created such a deep divide that they thought of themselves as the rulers of the little brown men.
It took one man to open our eyes. It took one man to allow us to know the truth. The truth that for centuries we were manipulated, short changed, robbed, raped and killed; the truth that our land was being drained of its riches and siphoned off to some distant land. Along with knowing the truth about this great deception, we have also uncovered the perpetrators of this dastardly undertaking. We have unmasked their identities. We can now put faces to the monsters that have subjugated us and kept us wallowing in misery. They are the people that call themselves “Righteous”! They paint themselves white to hide the darkness of their souls.
There are some of our brethren that have been so smitten by their lies that they are blinded from the truth, some are aware but are doing so because of financial gain or promise. But they are not important. What is important is to cut the roots of the people that have finally come out in the open and called us their peasants. Because to them, we are just their slaves who are rebelling against their masters.
Although their roots have grown deep and wide after being fed with the blood of our ancestors for hundreds of years, we now have something they never thought we’d have. The numbers, the fortitude and the will. Together we can uproot the evil that has spread throughout society and throughout our lives. Together we proclaim that we are once more the sovereign of our land!

DUTERTE'S LEGACY AND DEVOLUTION OF POWERS

If President Duterte is given provisional extraordinary powers by the people, what do I foresee to be his legacy?
1. Restoration of law and order and a diminution of corruption, criminality and illegal drugs.
2. Economic takeoff that will turn the Philippines into one of the Asian tigers.
3. Restoration of national pride and dignity and respect of countries around the world.
4. New constitutional order, most likely a parliamentary-federal system.
A new constitutional order will shift the balance of power of national politics due to the re-distribution and devolution of powers.
At the federal government level, the president, prime-minister, speaker of the House of Parliament and CJ of the Supreme Court will be the main fulcrum of power.
At the federal state and autonomous province level, the governors and mayors will benefit from a greater devolution of power from the central to the local level.
If our politicians have any vision, this should be the roadmap they prepare.

Isang araw sa Davao City, pumasok si Tikboy sa isang barbershop malapit sa City Hall upang magpagupit. Pagpasok niya, walang customer sa loob. Nakita niya ang isang matandang barbero na nagbabasa ng newspaper. Ang headlines – “De Lima, Walked Out From Senate Hearing”.
Barbero: Magpapagupit ka sir?
Tikboy: Oo, kol. (Kol, short for Uncle/Manong, tawagang ginagamit mostly ng mga bisaya)
Barbero: Dito ka umupo sir. Anong gupit ang gusto mo?
Tikboy: Yung “barber’s cut” lang.
Habang ginugupitan si Tikboy, naaliw siya sa pakikipag-usap sa matanda.
Tikboy: Grabe ‘yung hearing kagabi noh? Nagsigawan na sila. Nag walk-out si De Lima.
Barbero: Oo nga eh. Parang circus.
Tikboy: Hay naku, ayaw talaga tumigil nitong Trillanes at De Lima. Plano talaga nilang paalisin sa pwesto si Duterte.
Barbero: Oo nga pero parang malabo yang mangyari, dong. Wais si Digong para sa kanila.
Tikboy: Sana nga. Pero grabe na rin yung paninira ng ibang bansa.
Barbero: Pero sa pagkakaalam ko kay Digong, hindi yan paaapi. Matagal na ako dito sa Davao, pero niminsan hindi ko nakitang umatras si Digong sa kanyang kalaban.
Tikboy: Totoo yan. Sinabihan pa nga nya si Obama na “Go to hell” bago lang. Hehe
Barbero: Ganun ba? Pilyo talaga itong si Mayor. Iniinis lang niya yang si Obama.
Tikboy: Oo nga kol. Di ba sya natatakot? Presidente rin yun nang America.
Barbero: Naku, wala yang kinatatakutan si Digong, sabihan lang kita. Yang si Obama at Ban Ki Moon din naman yung unang sumaway at nakialam sa kanya regarding extra-judicial killings.
Tikboy: Alam mo rin pala yan Kol?
Barbero: Oo, kasi nakikinig din naman ako ng balita. Minsan, nagfa-facebook din ako. Bigay pa nga tong cellphone ko sa anak kung nagtatrabaho sa ibang bansa. Ito yung ginagamit ko kahit minsan free data lang.
Tikboy: Ganun ba. Mabuti’t updated ka rin sa mga balita.
Barbero: Alam mo ba kung bakit mainit ang dugo ni Duterte sa Amerika?
Tikboy: Dahil dyan sa Human Rights?
Barbero: Isa lang yan, pero nagsimula yan noong may sumabog na bomba dito sa Davao, matagal na.
Tikboy: Yung sa Roxas, kol?
Barbero: Hindi. Yung nangyari pa noong 2013. Yung sa airport, Davao wharf, at terminal.
Tikboy: Ay oo, naalala ko yun. Bakit pala?
Barbero: Pagkatapos kasing sumabog ng bomba, na discover nila na C4 yung ginamit pareho nung ginamit ng isang CIA agent na nakapasok dito sa Davao.
Tikboy: Ha?
Barbero: Oo. Yung CIA agent na si Michael Terrence Meiring. Siya yung tinuro ng mga sundalo dito sa Mindanao na nagsupply umano ng mga bomba at mga armas sa mga terrorista.
Tikboy: So, possible na yung CIA ang umutos sa pambobomba dito sa Davao? Saan mo naman nalaman yan, kol?

Tikboy: League of Legends yung nilalaro ko, kol. Ipagpatuloy mo nga yung kwento mo, nakakaaliw eh.
Barbero: Ayun, nung nalaman ni Duterte about kay Meiring, huli na. Hindi na nila naabutan sa hotel si Meiring. Kinuha na pala siya ng mga FBI, pinalabas na ng Pilipinas. Kaya ayun, nagalit talaga si Duterte kaya hinding hindi niya yan makakalimutan. Masakit talaga sa loob niya. Napakabastos nung ginawa nung CIA agent.
Tikboy: (Tahimik lamang na nakikinig.)
Barbero: Kaya ayun, nag request yung America na gamitin ang airport para sa kanilang military drones, hindi pinayagan ni Duterte. Yung purpose lang naman nila eh para may base sila na gagamitin dito sa Pilipinas upang makipag giyera sa China. Gusto kasi ng America na magiging hegemon sila.
Tikboy: Ano yang hegemon, kol? Pokemon lang kasi yung alam ko.
Barbero: Hegemon, yung sila ang maghahari sa buong mundo.
Tikboy: Naku, di pala natin mapagkakatiwalaan tong mga kano.
Barbero: Pero yung tanong dyan eh, bakit gusto ni Digong na maging independent tayo at hindi tayo aasa sa America? Bakit mas panig siya sa China at Russia?
Tikboy: (Bakit ako ang tinatanong nito?) Ewan ko, Bakit pala?
Barbero: May aaminin akong sekreto sayo, it’s up to you kung maniniwala ka o hindi.
Tikboy: Anong sekreto yan, kol?
Barbero: Namumulubi na ang America.
Tikboy: Namumulubi? Eh ang yaman ng America eh.
Barbero: Oo, mayaman sila…pero hindi na yan magtatagal. Kung susukatin mo ang yaman in terms of purchasing power, pinaka mayaman ang China. Mukhang mayaman lang naman ang America dahil ang lahat ng bansa ay nagba-base sa US Dollar. Yung nagback-up niyan eh yung oil. Ang nagsusupply ng oil, yung Saudi. Kaya, kahit gaano karaming human rights violation ng Saudi Arabia, hindi talaga yan sisitahin ng America kasi yung Saudi ang pumopondo sa kanila. Mga ipokrito.

Barbero: Pero, meron pang isang sekreto!
Tikboy: Ano yan?
Barbero: Malapit nang maubos ang oil ng Saudi.
Tikboy: (Confused.)
Barbero: Di ka naniniwala noh? Lahat ng gamit natin, ginagamitan yan ng petroleum. Hindi lang yan sa diesel at gasolina. Plastic, goma, nylon, pvc pipe, floor wax, crayons, rubbing alchohol, pintura… halos lahat ginagamit yan. Kaya ganun nalang kabilis mag extract ng oil ang Middle East ngayon. Tikboy: Ganun ba? So, yung ibang oil natin eh galing pang America?

Barbero: At eto pa yung masama. Dati kasi, lahat ng pera ay backed-up by gold reserves. Ngayon ang ginawa ng America, ginawa nilang back up ang oil. Yung gold nila, wala nang pondo ang Federal Reserves nila. Inubos at binili na ng mga oligarchs. Mga malalaking kompanya na ang nagpapatakbo ng kanilang bansa ngayon. Masyado kasing kampante yung America. Kaya yun, gusto ng Germany na kunin yung gold reserves nila sa America, pero wala nang maibigay ang America. Sobrang tiwala kasi nang ibang bansa sa dolyar. Barbero: Ngayon, dahil dito gustong bawiin ng China ang kanilang investment worth $1 trillion. Eh wala nang maibigay yung America eh kasi namumulubi na nga. Kaya ang ginawa ng China, nag hoarding sila ng gold. Pati Russia, yan din ang ginagawa. Halos lahat ng gold ngayon eh inubos nang bilhin ng China at Russia kasi alam nilang mahina na ang America.
Tikboy: Ahhh, kaya pala gusto ni Duterte na sa China at Russia tayo kakampi.
Barbero: Ganito kasi yan. May mga economic powers ang mundo. Ang mga established nyan ay yung mga First World o yung tinatawag nating West. Sila yung Europe at America. Pero, meron ding tinatawag na emerging superpowers, yan yung BRICs. Brazil, Russia, India and China. Yang mga yan, sobrang yaman na nila ngayon. Ang masama nito, yung West eh dahan dahan nang nagkakahiwalay. Did you observe na si Duterte lang talaga ang nag open up nang ganitong issue sa lahat ng Presidentiables noong campaign? Ang sabi nya, wala na daw hawak ang America sa Europe. Bankrupt na yung Greece at gusto nang pumanig sa Russia. Tama talaga si Duterte kasi yan yung totoo. Noong 2014, gustong umalis ng Scotland sa United Kingdom. Tapos, last 2016, tuluyan na talagang umalis ang Great Britain sa European Union. Ang susunod na aalis nyan ay France, tapos Italy, Germany, hanggang sa tuluyan nang mawasak ang EU. Kaya ganun nalang sinisaway ni Duterte ang European Union kasi wala na yang silbi.

Barbero: Mismo! Ito yung tinatawag na TIMPs – Turkey, Indonesia, Mexico and Philippines. Tayo yung mga emerging developing countries. At yan ang tini-take advantage ni Duterte kasi emerging power na rin tayo particularly dito sa Asia. Saan ka papanig? Sa humihina o dun sa lumalakas? Sa West or sa BRICs? Yan yung sagot kung bakit mas mainam na papanig tayo sa China at Russia kontra sa America at Europe. Long term kasi yung iniisip ni Digong. Wais masyado.
Tikboy: Iba pala talaga tong Presidente natin ngayon.
Barbero: Bilib nga ako sa kanya eh.
Tikboy: Tapos, ano na mangyayari sa America ngayon?
Barbero: Dahil malapit na silang ma-bankcrupt, nagre-ready na yan sa isang malaking giyera. Wala na silang mapuntahan, no choice na yan sila. Kaya nga pinapalibutan na nila yung Russia at China kasi just in case na may mangyari, ready na sila. Sabihan kita, maraming walang alam pero malapit na ulit magka giyera.

Ano pala yang Jade Helm 15, na katwiran nila eh military exercise lang daw. Yang mga facebook at twitter accounts, mga emails; kontrolado na yan ng US government. Kasi just in case na may i-trace sila eh madali na nilang mabisto at madakip. Yan yung enexpose ni Edward Snowden. Sa Russia kahapon, 40 million Russians ang sumali sa kanilang Nuclear Disaster drill. Kasi yang Syria, malapit na talaga yan. Konting di pagkakaintindihan nyan, magliliparan na mga nuclear sa dalawang bansa. Yung China, naghahanda na rin. Ang mga tunnels nasa mga kabundokan nila, puno na ng mga nuclear weapons.
Tikboy: Nakakatakot naman yan. Ano naman magagawa natin dyan?
Barbero: Kaya nga bina-balanse ni Digong ng mabuti yung problemang yan. Yan yung tinatawag na ‘hedging’. Kasi kung patuloy tayo na magiging puppet ng America, tapos lalagyan nila ng base-militar dito, tayo ang kawawa. Gagawin lang tayong battleground sa giyera ng US sa China. Most likely ang Palawan talaga ang kawawa. Kaya nga tinitimpla ni Digong yung sitwasyon ng dalawang bansa.
Tikboy: Eh pano kung ang China naman yung aatake sa atin?
Barbero: Parang malabo yang mangyari pero possible rin. Kaya nga sinabi ni Digong na palalakasin nya yung alliance sa Russia kasi doon siya kukuha ng military hardware. Isang araw sa Davao City, pumasok si Tikboy sa isang barbershop malapit sa City Hall upang magpagupit. Pagpasok niya, walang customer sa loob. Nakita niya ang isang matandang barbero na nagbabasa ng newspaper. Ang headlines – “De Lima, Walked Out From Senate Hearing”.
Barbero: Magpapagupit ka sir?
Tikboy: Oo, kol. (Kol, short for Uncle/Manong, tawagang ginagamit mostly ng mga bisaya)
Barbero: Dito ka umupo sir. Anong gupit ang gusto mo?
Tikboy: Yung “barber’s cut” lang.
Habang ginugupitan si Tikboy, naaliw siya sa pakikipag-usap sa matanda.
Tikboy: Grabe ‘yung hearing kagabi noh? Nagsigawan na sila. Nag walk-out si De Lima.
Barbero: Oo nga eh. Parang circus.
Tikboy: Hay naku, ayaw talaga tumigil nitong Trillanes at De Lima. Plano talaga nilang paalisin sa pwesto si Duterte.
Barbero: Oo nga pero parang malabo yang mangyari, dong. Wais si Digong para sa kanila.
Tikboy: Sana nga. Pero grabe na rin yung paninira ng ibang bansa.
Barbero: Pero sa pagkakaalam ko kay Digong, hindi yan paaapi. Matagal na ako dito sa Davao, pero niminsan hindi ko nakitang umatras si Digong sa kanyang kalaban.
Tikboy: Totoo yan. Sinabihan pa nga nya si Obama na “Go to hell” bago lang. Hehe
Barbero: Ganun ba? Pilyo talaga itong si Mayor. Iniinis lang niya yang si Obama.
Tikboy: Oo nga kol. Di ba sya natatakot? Presidente rin yun nang America.
Barbero: Naku, wala yang kinatatakutan si Digong, sabihan lang kita. Yang si Obama at Ban Ki Moon din naman yung unang sumaway at nakialam sa kanya regarding extra-judicial killings.
Tikboy: Alam mo rin pala yan Kol?
Barbero: Oo, kasi nakikinig din naman ako ng balita. Minsan, nagfa-facebook din ako. Bigay pa nga tong cellphone ko sa anak kung nagtatrabaho sa ibang bansa. Ito yung ginagamit ko kahit minsan free data lang.
Tikboy: Ganun ba. Mabuti’t updated ka rin sa mga balita.
Barbero: Alam mo ba kung bakit mainit ang dugo ni Duterte sa Amerika?
Tikboy: Dahil dyan sa Human Rights?
Barbero: Isa lang yan, pero nagsimula yan noong may sumabog na bomba dito sa Davao, matagal na.
Tikboy: Yung sa Roxas, kol?

Tikboy: Naku, di pala natin mapagkakatiwalaan tong mga kano.
Barbero: Pero yung tanong dyan eh, bakit gusto ni Digong na maging independent tayo at hindi tayo aasa sa America? Bakit mas panig siya sa China at Russia?
Tikboy: (Bakit ako ang tinatanong nito?) Ewan ko, Bakit pala?
Barbero: May aaminin akong sekreto sayo, it’s up to you kung maniniwala ka o hindi.
Tikboy: Anong sekreto yan, kol?
Barbero: Namumulubi na ang America.
Tikboy: Namumulubi? Eh ang yaman ng America eh.
Barbero: Oo, mayaman sila…pero hindi na yan magtatagal. Kung susukatin mo ang yaman in terms of purchasing power, pinaka mayaman ang China. Mukhang mayaman lang naman ang America dahil ang lahat ng bansa ay nagba-base sa US Dollar. Yung nagback-up niyan eh yung oil. Ang nagsusupply ng oil, yung Saudi. Kaya, kahit gaano karaming human rights violation ng Saudi Arabia, hindi talaga yan sisitahin ng America kasi yung Saudi ang pumopondo sa kanila. Mga ipokrito.

Barbero: Pero, meron pang isang sekreto!

Barbero: Malapit nang maubos ang oil ng Saudi.

Barbero: Ngayon, dahil dito gustong bawiin ng China ang kanilang investment worth $1 trillion. Eh wala nang maibigay yung America eh kasi namumulubi na nga. Kaya ang ginawa ng China, nag hoarding sila ng gold. Pati Russia, yan din ang ginagawa. Halos lahat ng gold ngayon eh inubos nang bilhin ng China at Russia kasi alam nilang mahina na ang America.
Tikboy: Ahhh, kaya pala gusto ni Duterte na sa China at Russia tayo kakampi.
Barbero: Ganito kasi yan. May mga economic powers ang mundo. Ang mga established nyan ay yung mga First World o yung tinatawag nating West. Sila yung Europe at America. Pero, meron ding tinatawag na emerging superpowers, yan yung BRICs. Brazil, Russia, India and China. Yang mga yan, sobrang yaman na nila ngayon. Ang masama nito, yung West eh dahan dahan nang nagkakahiwalay. Did you observe na si Duterte lang talaga ang nag open up nang ganitong issue sa lahat ng Presidentiables noong campaign? Ang sabi nya, wala na daw hawak ang America sa Europe. Bankrupt na yung Greece at gusto nang pumanig sa Russia. Tama talaga si Duterte kasi yan yung totoo. Noong 2014, gustong umalis ng Scotland sa United Kingdom. Tapos, last 2016, tuluyan na talagang umalis ang Great Britain sa European Union. Ang susunod na aalis nyan ay France, tapos Italy, Germany, hanggang sa tuluyan nang mawasak ang EU. Kaya ganun nalang sinisaway ni Duterte ang European Union kasi wala na yang silbi.

Yan yung sagot kung bakit mas mainam na papanig tayo sa China at Russia kontra sa America at Europe. Long term kasi yung iniisip ni Digong. Wais masyado.
